The Rundown:
Candice LeRae was being interviewed outside when she approached Shayna Baszler. She says she heard what Shayna had to say about her and Baszler told her that she’s better off being the sidekick. LeRae slapped her across the face and the two went at it. Security pried them off of each other.
Dakota Kai was being interviewed by Cathy Kelly backstage. She says she’s not done with Shayna and she should plan on meeting her in the ring sometime soon. She claims that she’s on the climb back up the women’s division when Lacey Evans cuts her off. Lacey says nobody cares about Dakota and says if Kai ever won the title, she would drag it down. She says Dakota doesn’t have the traits to carry a division. Kai vows to kick the class off Lacey’s face next week.
Vanessa Borne made her entrance, planning on pulling a victory over Kairi Sane. The bell rings and Borne shoves Kairi into the corner. Sane reversed the pressure and mocked Borne. Vanessa slammed her to the canvas and tried to capitalize, but Kairi dodged and spun her over by her leg. She began targeting Vanessa’s leg until Borne latched onto the ropes. She then went for a crucifix, but Borne slammed her with a Samoan drop. She continued the attack by locking her up in a bodyscissors. Kairi escaped, but The Vision of NXT took her out with a twisting suplex. She shoved Kairi around, calling her pathetic. She then launched Sane into the ropes and choked her against it.
She flipped Kairi in the ropes and started kicking her spine. She continued to brutalize Kairi. She ascended to the middle ropes, demanding the crowd to cheer for her. She then leaped, but Kairi moved in time. Kairi then took her down with a neckbreaker and a headscissor takedown in the ropes. She speared the life out of Borne with an Interceptor and clocked her with a Sliding D. She went up to the top, but Vanessa pried her off. She rolled Kairi up, but Sane kicked out and applied The Anchor (cross-legged boston crab – according to commentary). Vanessa taps and Kairi picks up the W.
After the match, she got a microphone. She says that Shayna is strong, but she’s beaten her before. She vows to do it again as the crowd chants along with her. She claims that she’s coming for the treasure – the NXT Women’s Championship!

I’m so excited about next week’s matches! Lacey vs Dakota will surely be great. But the fatal four way? That’s gonna be incredible!
