The Rundown:

Nia Jax and Natalya locked up, but Nia overpowers her. Natalya attempts to flip her with a headlock, but Jax launches her in the air. Natalya landed on her feet and fought Nia off. She continued to hit Nia until Jax bulldozered her over.

We come back from commercial and Jax is restraining Natalya back in a choke hold. Natalya hit her with a jaw breaker and attempted to lift Nia off of her feet, however, Jax clocked her with a headbutt. Natalya fought back once again and hit Jax with a wheelbarrow bulldog, showing off her innovative offense. Natalya went for a sequence of strikes, taking her down with a discus clothesline while using Nia’s momentum against her. She ran across Nia’s spine and went to bounce off the ropes, but Natalya tweaked her knee, allowing Jax to capitalize with the Samoan Drop and win the match.

Nia Jax looks extremely concerned for the wellbeing of Natalya as Ronda Rousey leaves the commentary table to check on her. Ronda got into Nia’s face, telling her to leave. Ronda helped Natalya backstage as Nia looked on worried.

Ronda and Natalya were in the trainers room when Nia Jax came in. She apologized to Natalya for hurting her knee when Ronda got involved. Nia said this stuff happens in wrestling and Ronda said it’s best for her to leave. Natalya screams over the two and says she knows it’s an accident and she needs time to herself.

Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and Ember Moon looked to put their competitiveness for Money in the Bank aside and take on the devious trio of The Riott Squad. Ember Moon and Ruby Riott kicked off the match with an intense test of strength. Ruby got the better end of it and went after Moon. Ember stuck the landing after Riott’s toss, but Ruby took her down with a shoulder tackle.

Moon swept her feet from under her and launched herself over the ropes with a crossbody. She went to tag Sasha Banks in, but Alexa Bliss tagged herself in. Bliss went after Ruby’s arm and threw Ruby into the corner. Alexa jumped and landed on her leg, injuring it in the process. She tags Sasha Banks in and hobbles backstage, making it a handicapped match now.

We return from commercial and Liv Morgan is strangling Ember. Liv whipped her into the turnbuckles, tagging in her squad to share blows on Ember. Sarah Logan hits her with a deadly headbutt, flipping Moon over. Ruby Riott gets tagged in and tosses Ember back and forth with her arms locked behind her back. Ember bounces Ruby off of the ropes, but Riott prevents her from tagging Sasha in. Eventually, the teams tag someone new in and Sasha and Liv square off. Sasha takes Liv down with a comeback and clocks Sarah off of the apron. She hit Ruby to ringside, allowing Liv to capitalize and slam her onto the canvas, then jumping on her spine.

Sarah and Ruby tag in and out, taking turns on tearing Banks apart. Morgan reenters and ties Sasha up, but Banks slams her to the ground. Ember looks for the tag, but the remaining squad members take her out at ringside. Banks tried to battle back, but Liv stayed on her. However, Sasha launched Liv to ringside and took Ruby and Sarah out with a double meteora from the middle rope! Bayley sprints out and Sasha tags her in! Bayley goes after Sarah and finishers her off with a Bayley to Belly! The referee rules them as the winners.

The three winners from the tag match were walking backstage. Sasha says Alexa is faking an injury like she always does. Ember says they won thanks to Bayley and that she saved them. Sasha reluctantly agrees and thanks Bayley for having her back. Ember says they need to hug it out so they can all go and celebrate. Kurt Angle approaches them and informs them that since Bayley wasn’t in the match, The Riott Squad was victorious. Ember infuriatedly walks away as Sasha shakes her head at Bayley and walks.

RAW Talk:

I was not feeling Natalya vs Nia Jax. I was expecting a lot more. Although, Natalya sold the injury very well and I like how Nia is still consistently face and looks out for Natalya. I just wish Nia did more in the match. Lately she’s been getting her ass kicked and pulls through with a handful of moves to win and it makes her look like a joke. Just because she was bullied, she suddenly doesn’t remember how to toss girls around the ring? They need to work on booking her correctly.

I really enjoyed the tag match however. Liv Morgan really impressed and shined during her spots against Sasha. They work really well together and hopefully we’ll get to see them have a feud sometime down the road.
