Jordynne Grace challenges Priscilla Kelly for the SHINE Nova Title at WWR’s ‘The Show Must Go On’

It was announced last week newly crowned SHINE Nova Champion Priscilla Kelly would be making her debut for Women’s Wrestling Revolution at ‘The Show Must Go On’ on August 20th in her second ever defense of the SHINE Nova title.

Kelly won the title on SHINE 44 when she defeated Candy Cartwright in the finals of the two day tournament which saw her also defeat Veda Scott, Leah Vaughan, and Kiera Hogan.

Today it was announced that Priscilla Kelly’s opponent would be Jordynne Grace.

Jordynne Grace has been a mainstay in Women’s Wrestling Revolution, appearing at many of the company’s shows and recently debuted at SHINE during the SHINE Nova Title Tournament, winning matches against La Rosa Negra & Aria Blake before falling to Candy Cartwright due to interference from the Candy Club.

WWR announced via twitter last week that Global Force Wrestling Knockout Alisha Edwards a.k.a Alexxis Neveah and Taeler Hendrix would be returning to Women’s Wrestling Revolution at “The Show Must Go On”. However, they weren’t the only duo announced as returning to the promotion as the promotion also announced that Team Sea Stars: Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo would be at the show. As well as Team Adam members Tasha Steelz & Karen Q.

They also announced another match that will take place during the show that will see Maria Manic take on Davienne in a rematch from the last Women’s Wrestling Revolution show which saw Sammi Lane distract Maria Manic, allowing Davienne to score the pinfall on Manic.

They also announced that independent wrestler Terra Calaway would be making her debut, east coast based wrestler Vanity would be returning, and that The Twisted Sisters; Holidead and Thunder Rosa would be making their returns to WWR after making an impressive debut at WWR’s Identity Crisis show back in March that saw them lose via a roll-up, but get the last laugh on the team of Davienne and Mistress Belmont.

The show will be headline by Mae Young Classic alternate Deonna Purrazzo going one on one against Netflix’s GLOW Star and former TNA Knockout/WWE Superstar Awesome Kong.

Women’s Wrestling Revolution presents “The Show Must Go On” on August 20th at the Aurora in Providence, Rhode Island. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
