According to PWInsider.com WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is backstage at the site of tonight’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
At Unforgiven on September 17, 2006, in her hometown of Toronto, Stratus defeated Lita with fellow Canadian Bret Hart’s signature submission maneuver, the Sharpshooter in her retirement match. Her victory earned her a seventh Women’s Championship, the most in WWE history, and she retired as the champion.
Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 and inducted Lita into the Hall of Fame in 2014.
Since leaving the ring she has had two children – a son named Maximus Stratus who was born on September 30, 2013, and a daughter named Madison-Patricia who was born on January 14, 2017.
