WWE Officially Signs Kavita Devi

WWE officially announced the signing of India’s Kavita Devi to a developmental contract Sunday, while on a media tour centered around Jinder Mahal, the first-ever WWE champion of Indian lineage as announced on ESPN.com.

Devi competed in the Mae Young Classic, where she lost in the opening round to Dakota Kai; she’s an accomplished powerlifter and won gold for India at the 2016 South Asian Games.

WWE has a very first Indian Woman to compete in their ring and Shadia Besiso is the first woman from the Middle East to compete in the WWE ring, looks to me that like the WWE are starting to be like the U.N of wrestling, cause when they said World Wrestling that they weren’t kidding around.

She’s strong but slow and lunky – not only was she trained by Khali, she moves like him – a waste as far as I’m concerned, and I’m Indian. The only South Asian who stands a chance of connecting with the audience is Mustafa Ali (or Hakim Zane if the WWE snap him up from Impact) ….
