WWE Contacts Former Women’s Champion For Royal Rumble Appearance

Along with Molly Holly who has been confirmed for the upcoming first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble that will take place at WWE’s Royal Rumble on January 28th, another name that WWE has reached out to – according to PWInsider’s elite audio is Michelle McCool.

The former 2 time WWE Divas Champion and two time WWE Women’s Champion retired in 2011 after she lost a loser leaves WWE match to Layla before being written out of the company after being attacked by the debuting Kharma.

She recently has teased a return to the ring on social media, saying she wanted to face Charlotte Flair inside the ring.

Huge fan of Michelle McCool since 2005. She carried the SmackDown torch after Torrie Wilson.

Me too. Loved her run as a heel. Her stint with LayCool got a little frustrating towards the end because she became the comedic heel instead of the kickass heel that she was. She was the best worker of her era and one of the best female athletes ever in the WWE. Would love to see her be in the Royal Rumble and face Charlotte later and take that title off her for one last run (as a heel, of course).

I’d love to see her in the women’s royal rumble.

McCool is one of my favorites.

I will be heartbroken if this doesn’t end with her in the Rumble (and later against Charlotte).
