Savannah Summers and Indi Hartwell are set to face off in a Best of 3 Series for International Wrestling Australia’s trilogy of shows within the state lines of New South Wales, happening this coming Thursday, July 27th through Saturday, July 29th. The matches are spread across the duration of the “WrestleRevoluton” tour, which kicks off in Singleton, passes through the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre in Tamworth and concludes at the Armidale City Bowling Club in Armidale. Savannah Summers is a ten-year veteran of the Australian independent scene and is best known for her work with Riot City Wrestling where she’s the “First Lady.”
In May of 2012, she was crowned the inaugural Women’s Champion after defeating Miami in the finals of an eight-woman tournament that began that January. The championship match was booked in the main event of “Rites of Passage,” a card that featured seven matches – six of those matches were all men’s contests, with Summers and Miami being the only women on the show and getting top billing and not slotted to the semi-main event or as the show’s opener. Summers is now a former three-time RCW Women’s Champion and was recently the AIWF Australian Women’s Champion up until March when she lost the belt to Niki Nitro.
Indi Hartwell is a newer name on the Australian scene and has already made her debuts in China, wrestling against Kellyanne in Guangzhou and in the U.S where she wrestled against Thunder Rosa as part of the women’s super show at WrestleCon. Hartwell got her break into professional wrestling last April when she made her in-ring debut against Kellyanne for Pro Championship Wrestling (PCW Australia). That December, she received a WWE tryout alongside Aussie veteran, Shazza McKenzie, Demi Bennett (Rhea Ripley) and Kellyanne. She’s currently a regular for PCW, where she’s continued to wrestle on their weekly shows to this day.
