Per a recent report, ESPN could be interested in acquiring the talents of current WWE interviewer Renee Young.
As Dave Meltzer notes in this week’s (subscription only) Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Young’s work in wrestling has impressed many at the network, and the feeling is that ESPN may make her an offer soon:
“ESPN is expected to make a major play for Renee Paquette, 29, who is Renee Young in WWE. She has impressed a lot of the networks with her smoothness in her work with WWE since coming from The Score where she was one of the hosts of Right After Wrestling, a Raw post-game show.”
Young, who signed with WWE in October of 2012 and debuted on television soon after, has been quite the find for the company. In fact, she’s easily one of the best female interviewers the company has ever had.
