Canadian independent talent and an Olympic Medalist get a WWE tryout

It’s been a few days since WWE held the weekend tryout but we have been able to reveal two more female names who took part in the tryouts. Those two names are Leah Von Dutch and Marlene Harnois.

Leah Von Dutch is a 26 year old Canadian female wrestler. She won free wrestling training at Squared Circle Training after winning an essay contest put on by WWE superstar Edge. In the last few months she’s been wrestling in promotions such as SHINE, SHIMMER, nCw Femmes Fatales, and Canadian Pro Wrestling just to name a few. She’s wrestled in Japan and England and she’s only been wrestling since 2012.

Marlene Harnois is a 27 year old French Canadian. She is well versed in Taekwondo and is an olympic medalist in the sport. She moved to France in 2001 to train in the sport and later on became a French citizen. In her first olympic games in 2012 she brought home the bronze medal for France. She has also won gold at both the 2008 and 2012 European Championship as well as winning a bronze medal at the 2011 world Taekwando championships in the women’s featherweight division.

Best of luck to both ladies!
